Aqualux 2.0 Pro combines proven filtration materials into one powerful cartridge. Together, they form a comprehensive shield against impurities in your shower water.

1. PP Cotton Filter

Prepares the filtration process by removing larger particles, sediment, and debris from the water, while preventing the activated carbon cartridge from clogging.

2. Solid Activated Carbon Block

The next layer consists of a thick, solid activated carbon block—the heart of the filter.

The solid structure of the 2.0 Pro forces water to pass through the entire cartridge, ensuring maximum contact time and efficient filtration. This allows it to effectively reduce chlorine, chemicals, odors, tastes, and other impurities.

3. KDF-55

Inside the cartridge is KDF-55 (a high-purity copper-zinc alloy), which works through an oxidation-reduction (redox) reaction.

KDF-55 is capable of reducing chlorine (by converting it into harmless chloride ions) and binding some of the heavy metals in the water that cause blonde hair to turn yellow or green. Filtration efficiency depends on water chemistry, flow rate, and contact time.

4. Calcium Sulfite

The final stage consists of calcium sulfite, which boosts chlorine removal. While Activated Carbon and KDF-55 are effective against chlorine, calcium sulfite complements this protection — especially in hot water. This helps maintain the natural moisture balance of your skin and hair.
